Non-Academic Activities

Keeping in mind the all round growth of children, we frequently organize with our partners:

• Street plays in order to promote the artistic talent of the children and make them and their community aware of social issues.
• Outdoor visits to historical places to promote the idea of ‘learn with fun’.
• Celebrations for Independence Day, Republic Day and Children’s Day.
• Bal Panchyats and Parent Teacher meetings are occasionally held by our teachers to discuss the challenges of children and work accordingly with them to overcome these.
• Door to door campaigns by our teachers to identify and motivate new children to join and participate in these events.
• Distribution of sweets and clothes on the ocassion of some major festivals and sweaters once a year before winters to children coming to our two centers.
